Hello Final 7!!!
Welcome to your Seventh Judging Session. This week another model will have to leave this competition.
Let's start our judging now
Matt: You kind of look like Janet Jackson. I like this, i can see the crime but ti also looks like it could be a mystery but i'm loving the black and white
Amanda: This is 100% Film Noir, so "Crime" is the appropriate classification. Film noir always involves a crime. This really is stunning, and the black and white really enforces what it is. I love the outfit and attitude since it goes so well together. Great job!
Karen: You really nailed the theme on this one. I do agree that the picture doesn't terribly look like you, which is unfortunate. But the pose is wonderful, the outfit is really good, and the hair is also pretty good. Great work!
BB: I think the most exciting thing about this photo is the pose. I see the combination of confident, evil and fierce but I didn't like the angle of your face. Not so sure about that. I want to see the expression from your face more
Nicki: I think this is great. You look like a cunning temptress. I am impressed!
BB: I think this is definitely fantasy, Not a big fan of your face expression but I love other aspects of this photo. From the styling, background and concept, everything works and blend together very well
Matt: I'm going to agree with BB, i like the idea and how it relates to fantasy but I'm not a fan of your face.
Amanda: I love the setting and your hair is unique. This screams epic fantasy - sort of like your photo for Wrath. This is a nice contrast to that since here you look like an innocent princess in her castle in the clouds. I really like this, but like the others I think your face is just okay.
Karen: Hmm, I would have guessed Prince of Persia, instead of Howl's. I love the setting, the outfit, and the hair in this photo, but I agree that your face has this psuedo-regal thing going on, but it just seems kind of disjointed. Also the picture looks a bit grainy, which I'm not a huge fan of. But other than that it's fantastic.
Nicki: You get major props on your setting and attire, but your face and the picture are just okay.
BB: I felt the intensity of this shoot. Very good. I love the background and you look very determine here. But I don't like the angle. Because your hands kinda hide you neck. Other than that, I love it
Amanda: Yeah, the angle is iffy and this seems to be a screenshot. I don't see it as too model like either. The intensity is great but it seems more focused on the bow than on you. This is just okay for me...
Matt: I actually really like this a lot. The bow and your outfit totally show Action. This is probably my favorite of yours.
Karen: I like the action feel of this shot, but there's something about it that bothers me, (this has nothing to do with you, but I tought archery for four years, and I'm a stickler for this kind of thing) and that's the angle of the arrow. If you fired that bow as it is in the photo, you'd slice your hand open on the fletching.
Beside that, it's a good shot. Your face has a lot of intensity, and there's a lot of action in the pose. Not a huge fan of the outfit and we can barely see your hair, but I suppose that's in keeping with the theme.
Nicki: JLaw, obviously there is action in here, but it's overall just okay. It doesn't seem like it came from a photoshoot.
Amanda: This seems pretty innocent to me. You look like a kidnapped victim trying to get away from that dark side. It fits thriller nicely and your dress is great. I like it.
BB: I think you nailed this shoot, Mischa.. I can see the Thriller in this photo. The styling is gorgeous and your face expression really works for me. This is scary and fabulous at the same time
Matt: Yeah this is totally thriller. I would have like to seen more fear on your face but this is pretty good.
Karen: I love your facial expression here. There's definitely a lot of story in this picture, and your outfit and the makeup and hair really work with the theme. Great work!
Nicki: I do see the thriller aspect here, but I don't like your dress. It doesn't go with the theme at all!
Amanda: I don't get how this relates to a mystery movie. This is "mysterious" but this isn't Emotions. This is movie week. I don't know what to think of this...
BB: I like your photo this week, I can feel the mystery element in this photo, I love the style. Suitable for your movie genre. I can imagine the title of this movie "Mannequin & I" or "The Lost Mannequin". Very strong face expression.
Matt: I like this photo but i dont like it. There are a ton of distractions and i can see the mystery but i cant see it relate to a movie.
Karen: To me this is almost more avant garde, one of those films that's more artistic than actual story. But beyond that, the hair is pretty good, and so is the makeup, but your eyes in this photo seem dead and they don't really grab me. Still, it's a good effort.
Nicki: I see it and I don't. I like that you took a risk, but you somewhat missed the target. Hmm.
Amanda: I'm not sure about this. You are hardly a focus here due to the angle and lighting, and although the idea is great, this is a movie still and that costs you bunches. I want to like this a lot more than I do... it makes me sad.
BB: I wish you would go with the photo from Photoshoot. But I feel the love and romance between you and the man. But the profile shot of you isn't stronger as it should be.
Matt: I can totally see the love in this which is part of romance. This photo can tell a whole story and i really enjoy this photo.
Karen: I'm not particularly a fan of this, since we've already done a couple shoot. It's an interesting concept shot, but I'm not really feeling the romance, and we really barely see you in this, which is a bit tragic.
Nicki: I think this is a great photo, but it loses points for not being from a photoshoot.
BB: This is much better than your last two weeks photo but sometimes little aspect like the logo, and Santa Barbara Design Car can ruin a good photo. I really like your face here. I felt the Epic vibe from you.
Amanda: Yeah, that logo again... big problem. It will cost you points. I like this otherwise and it fits the theme. Very striking and memorable, but your outfit might be a little trashy given how much you are showing... just saying.
Matt: Other than the logo i really like this. I'm so glad you've stepped up your game. The face is great and i love the prop.
Karen: THERE'S the Shilpa I loved in round one. This is definitely a great picture, and I think you seriously nailed the theme here. The pose is great, and the facial expression is devastatingly fierce. I think the makeup is very well done, too. I do agree that the logos hurt you a bit, but other than that it's very good.
Nicki: This is a great photo if you were to take out the logo. It would be hard to take out, but I'm sure you could find a way to do something. Other than that, it's great!
