Hello Girls..
Welcome to Second Elimination this cycle. Two Girls will leaving this week. And this week, you were assigned to submit a photo based on the Season that you picked
Let see how you girl did this week
Nicki: I don't think this is nearly as strong as you were last week, Angie. The nipple is awkward, and it looks like you're wearing pajama pants. This could also pass as a spring photo, which doesn't help your case.
Bingbing: Yup I can see the nipple too.. But honestly, I saw a lot of nipples too during the Summer. I mean the Summer is hot and sweaty, Oh gosh.. But I'm agree with Nicki.. This photo can be perceived as Spring too.. But I think your face expression is hot.. Very fierce
Matt: I can see summer in this. I mean i love laying in the grass during the summer its fun. I'm not gonna comment on the nipple but the face is what draws me in. I will agree it's not as strong as last weeks but it's still good.
Amanda: Weak. Hate the tattoo. Expression is weak.
Karen: It's an interesting concept, and I definitely see the summer here. I'm not a fan of the hair, though, but overall it's very strong.
Nicki: Beyonce, you look fantastic in this photo. You're glowing, and on the beach is DEFINITELY summer. The only issue I have with it is that logo. I can guarantee you at some point later in this game, someone will be eliminated over their logo. Just don't let that be you! I think you nailed this otherwise, though.
Bingbing: I think the styling is very suitable for Summer. I love the energy and it really helps to inject the summer mood in this photo. But I agree with the logo.. It might not be a big issue this week but sooner or later somebody might be affected from this whole logo and watermark thing
Karen: Really? I don't recall anybody having actually been eliminated over a logo, but they do tend to distract, so it IS best to avoid them whenever possible. Ignoring that, though, I think it's a gorgeous shot, and it really shows you off very well. I'm not a huge fan of the eyes here, but it's got a lot of other things going for it.
Matt: I'm going to basically say what everyone else said. Logo/Stunning/Fantastic... your face sort of reminds me of a barbie doll but it's cute. I really like it this week. Awesome Job last week and awesome job this week! Keep it up!
Amanda: I fifth everything and have nothing to add.
Amanda: I can see the fall a bit but it's too zoomed in to tell much of anything. I just can't bring myself to like it since it's so cropped and unmemorable.
Karen: It's pretty hard to see the theme here, but I think the facial expression and pose are pretty good. So it's really middle of the road with positives and negatives averaging out, for me.
Nicki: I agree that it's a tad bit zoomed in, so it's hard to see fall. Isn't too bad though.
BB: No.. I wish you would have pick the one with the words.. Because that photo was so beautiful and the Autumn vibe was so strong. Your lip is so sexy in this photo. But I agree it was too zoom up to your face.
Matt: I like this photo a lot, i'm gonna agree with the zoom but i get the fall feel and i love everything about your face in this one.
Amanda: I'm guessing... spring? I really don't know if it fits and this is more quirky and weird than anything.
Karen: It's definitely an interesting take on the spring theme, and I love the flowers, but it makes the pose a little bit weird. It almost comes across like a candid picture, just the way it's set up, but it's still a nice shot, though.
Nicki: I really like this Freida. I think you took an awesome risk here!
BB: I think you look very fresh here. I love the energy and the flowers really help you a lot. It's simple but still unique for me. Yes there's a little awkwardness here but I think it's still a good photo
Matt: For some reason the smile and the eyes are off for me. I do like the idea of the photo though.
Matt: Hm, I don't really see winter other then the outfit maybe being winter. I do like how your photo is model like though.
Nicki: Gemma, I think that your explanation is your saving grace. I definitely see a wintry look about you. Good job!
Amanda: This is a very cold, stony shot that's very model-like and fancy. I'm not completely sold on that thing you're smoking because that's not exactly model-like, That aside, your explanation is very solid, and that's what we expect when someone takes a risk - explain your photo, defend your thinking, and get us thinking that way too. I totally see this as a personification of winter, and I expect to be able to rank you very highly this week. Great job, Gemma!
BB: I thought I was looking at a Vampire first. It's kinda creepy but in a good way. I didn't feel the Winter much but I love the way you defend your photo with confident.
Karen: I definitely appreciate the explanation, or I never would have seen the winter in this. Great job!
Nicki: Hilary, I'm worried about you this week. Just because the sun is setting doesn't make it autumn. This strikes me as a summer picture. You're on the beach, and the leaves appear to be green in the background. I'm sorry, I just don't see it.
Bingbing: I'm not sure about this too.. Do you want to say anything about this photo. Why you picked this photo? I expected that we will get to see something like leaves or tree from the autumn shoot.
Karen: I'm going to be the Angel's Advocate here, and say that the sweater implies Autumn, because you don't wear them in summer, and nobody goes to the beach in the wintertime.
I'm not a fan of the lighting, if only because it downplays the photo quality and kind of blurs it a bit. The posing is also a little bit awkward, and the hair looks a bit more housewife than model. I do like the outfit, though.
Matt: I'm going to side with Karen. I totally see autumn, the sweater is one thing and i've been known to go to the beach during this time. It's a bit relaxing. Anyway on to the picture, I like your face this time and i love the objects surrounding you it's very artsy and great for this shoot.
Amanda: I see September. Sweater covers you up though.
Nicki: J-Law, I don't know how I feel about this. I can't really tell that it's summer from what little of the background I see. Additionally, I think your top is awkward, and I'm not sure what's going on with all the strings. I like the skirt though!
Bingbing: I think the style is not so great too.. But I guess since this is Summer and with the hot weather, it's cool to wear something like that. I think the composition of this photo is very good. You are the center of attention here. The pose is okay. I'm just not a fan of your face expression. I want to see more attitude
Matt: Honestly i sort of see spring in this. Your clothes arent so summer but still it's cute. Your face kind of looks too plain, sort of like your bored or don't like the photographer. But i do love the pose and the surrounding is beautiful.
Amanda: Not enough attitude, the skirt looks like fall, kind of blah.
Karen: I like the fierceness of the facial expression and the pose, but I feel like the outfit is a bit too eclectic for me. It's bright and plaid, it's black and white, it's lacy, it's skimpy... it's just kind of all over the place. But other than that, I'm a fan.
Amanda: Creepy. You almost look like you're a monster on the prowl about to devour its prey. I get that you are a wrestler but this photo doesn't translate to model well. Fits the theme yes but...
Nicki: I sorta agree with Amanda. It's definitely well-fitting to the theme, but it isn't the most glamorous shot of you.
Karen: Yeah, I definitely see the summer aspect here, but it definitely looks more like a candid snapshot than an actual modelling shoot. We can't really see your body at all, and the facial expression is a bit awkward.
BB: It's a very unique photo. I love the background. I feel the summer vibe in this photo. And I love your eyes here. Very strong and fierce. I think you're improving from last week
Matt: I agree with everyone. I like it, it's very summery but at the same time not too model like. It's not my least favorite and i do see you improving from last week
Amanda: Cute but too many flowers in full bloom for spring.
Nicki: Mischa, I like your look here. It's cute and innocent, just like spring. The dress is nice, and doesn't take anything away from what's going on. The couch is a cool plus, as well. The only issue is that the flowers are really bloomed, which is more of a sign of summer. You shouldn't worry too much, though. A lot of people are having trouble with the lines between spring and summer.
Matt: Where did the random couch come from lol. But this photo is exactly what i see (other then the couch) when i think of spring. Flowers blooming, a outfit that looks like it can keep you warm when needed and cool when needed. Love the pose and your facial expression is cute, just wish you were looking at the camera.
BB: I really like this photo. I think the Spring theme was executed really well in your photo. I think your face is really strong. I love the styling. Simple and Elegant. Good job
Karen: To the couch-haters, I'm gonna point out that Emma had a chair in the Spring shot that Bingbing put up as an example. Couches aren't really any more random.
I LOVE the facial expression here, and the pose is amazing. It's definitely got a light, springy feel to it. The only real criticism I have is that I wish the color was stronger, because spring is one of the most colorful seasons. Other than that, it's fantastic.
Nicki: Not too sure how I feel about this. I love you, the dress and the look, but I can't really tell if you're in spring or summer.
Matt: This is the most close to the topic i have seen. The grass is so green and you can see the leaves are gone from the trees, though when you think of spring you think of flowers and the saying april showers bring may flowers... i like your outfit but i'm not fond of the face, but i still really like this photo.
Amanda: Shading and dress are awkward. Don't think I like it.
BB: I thought it was Autumn at first.. But I really like the styling. Very fresh and girly but still edgy. I think the setting is strong but the problem was maybe the execution of the theme. Spring is not the first thing that come to my head when I see this photo
Karen: It's a pretty cute pose, and I like that you're really out in the wild here, but I don't like that your hair is covering up your face here. The other elements of the shot are pretty strong, though, so well done!
Matt: We've had things like this in past seasons where seasons could be different to other people. I actually see winter in this though you have a dress that cuts your shoulders but you could be in a studio and many famous people do that with seasons but still look nice and cozy
Nicki: Selena, this is a great improvement from last week. It appears as though you're inside and winter is behind you. Your dress is white and glamorous, just like snow. Good job!
Amanda: I'm really iffy on the lighting, since it almost seems too white because of that. I do get the vibe that it's in a frozen land, and the white dress helps invoke a more wintery feeling when mixed with the background. I also LOVE your facial expression, and it's a very genuine glamorous shot. Very big improvement from last week, and I look forward to seeing your photo next round!
BB: I think it's very sweet and fresh. I think you took the risk and I like this photo. I feel the potential in you. This photo wasn't traditionally scream Winter for me like Isabel in All Stars but there's enough Winter vibe in this photo. Maybe the color, the snowy things.. It's just work out greatly with the Winter
Karen: I think you really nailed the theme here, so massive props on that. The hair and pose are also really good, and the outfit ties in well. The facial expression could be a little stronger, but other than that it's great!
Nicki: Shilpa, I think you nailed this. Even your dress works harmoniously with the season. The water looks so clean, and everything looks blooming and vibrant. Great job!
Bingbing: I love your face here. Very fresh and full with energy. But the thing that I love the most about this photo, is the styling. This is the part where we can relate to the Spring. Your styling really helps you this week. Love your neck too
Karen: Shilpa, I think this is a great shot! I definitely get the spring vibe from your pose and outfit, and the background really works well. The facial expression is also very serene, and that contributes nicely to the overall effect. Well done!
Matt: I'm going to be that one judge that will say i don't get the spring. I'll agree with your pose and outfit being amazing but not so sure on the spring.
Amanda: Pretty much what Matt said.
